I spent my childhood in several towns in Western and South East Queensland, Australia.  Later my working life took me to Brisbane, Sydney, New Guinea, the United States, and London.

After a 30 year career in international corporate accounting I was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. This was a life-changing experience for me, and led me to realise that if I was going to heal, I would have to take responsibility for my condition and learn to heal myself.

Now I can see that my illness was an incredible gift, for not only was I able to cure myself - I also found my new passion – empowering people to heal themselves. My enduring quest to make an individual contribution which creates a difference to the world in which we live, has led me into my healing practice, and the setting up of the School of Light.

When I began my journey into ‘healing’ work, nothing prepared me for the emotions I would experience. The wonder, the awe, the doubt, the joy and excitement to see another come out of pain, to move freely, to let tears of relief flow. So, I learned that the healing sessions are a co-creative process. Everyone has a uniqueness.  Everyone uses the energy in their way.  I have come to feel in my heart, that every person has the gift to heal from within.
